Managing Director

Andrew has over a decade’s experience in the foreign exchange sector Previously he worked for a leading FX services company heading up strategic partnerships having also served as General Manager of their UK company, which he established in 2005. Prior to this he set up and ran the global corporate dealing desk in Sydney for the same firm. He is a Senior Associate of the Financial Services Institute of Australasia as well as a Member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors. Andrew holds a Diploma of Financial Markets from the Securities Institute of Australia and is an AFMA accredited Dealer.

Will Johnson

Corporate Dealer

Will joined World First’s London office as part of the Corporate Sales Team in 2009. Prior to that he was Money Market Dealer at Commonwealth Bank of Australia from 2005-2008 before moving to the UK. Will returned to Sydney in 2010 to take up the position of Corporate Dealer and currency strategist with World First Australia. Will has a sound understanding of the risk currency poses to an individual business and a passion for creating appropriate solutions. He holds a Bachelor of Economics from the University of Sydney, a Diploma of Financial Planning, and recently passed the first exam towards becoming a Charted Financial Analyst.

Renee Doughty

Senior Dealer Private Clients

Renee manages the Private Client relationships for Australasia and has been key to the growth and development of the Australian and New Zealand private client business. She joined World First in 2008 as a Dealer in the NZ office and moved to the Sydney office in 2009. Renee still manages key affiliate relationships in New Zealand and continues to service the NZ client base even though based in Sydney. Renee has a degree in Finance and Economics from the University of Otago and holds a Diploma in Foreign Exchange.

Paul Basson

Operations Manager

Paul joined World First in 2008 running the middle office team for London private client desk, before relocating to the Australian office in 2010. Originally from Cape Town, he holds a degree in Politics and Economics from the University of Cape Town and previously worked in customer relations for a leading motor manufacturer.

Andrew Arginovski

Compliance Manager

Andrew is the Compliance Officer at World First Australia. He looks after all AML/CTF compliance in addition to all ASIC regulatory requirements relevant to the business. He joined World First in 2010 after graduating from the University of Wollongong with a double degree in Commerce and Law, majoring in Economics, in 2009. He is currently completing his Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice at the College of Law and is a member of the Australasian Compliance Institute (ACI).

Robert Malcolm

Senior Business Development Manager

Senior Business Development Manager - Rob joined World First in 2010 as the company’s first Australian Business Development Manager. After successfully establishing new business for the company he went on to help develop the corporate sales desk, training and mentoring new staff. Prior to joining World First he worked in the home lending industry as a mortgage specialist for GE Finance. Rob has a very keen interest in what makes the market tick and writes our Weekly Update. Rob holds a Bachelor of Business majoring in Finance and Accounting from University of Technology Sydney.
