Our financials, ratings and references

World First is in a very strong financial position and we are totally transparent about our financial statements. The company grew over 25% last year and we are on track to grow over 50% this year. We transacted over £1.6 billion in 2010.

Rating

We have a 2A1 Credit Rating from Dun and Bradstreet, the global ratings agency. This is the highest rating a company of our size can achieve. Our DUNS number is 73-765-1252. You can look this up on the Dun & Bradstreet website.

Management and Staff

World First has over 100 employees between our UK and Australian offices. Our directors are Jonathan Quin and Nick Robinson, who collectively have over 30 years' experience in the foreign exchange markets. Our senior adviser is Sir David Clementi, former deputy governor of the Bank of England.  We have a strong management team of 15 and follow strict corporate governance guidelines.

World First has almost 25,000 registered private clients and over 5,000 registered corporate clients.  We’re always happy to provide references from existing clients. Please ask if you would like contact details of an existing client. We'll always try to provide a referee who lives near you or for corporate clients a company in a similar field of business.

You are welcome to request a bank status reference on World First. You order this through your own bank for our account with Barclays Bank. If you would like to do this please let us know and we’ll send you our account details. 

Visit us

We welcome visitors to our offices in Sydney. We’re just two minutes from Circular Quay rail station. Our offices are open 07:00 to 18:00 Monday to Thursday and 07:00 to 17:30 on Fridays.

In the past two years alone, World First UK Limited has been awarded the Queen's Award for Enterprise, Service Business of the Year, Best Company to Work For and we have been listed in the Sunday Times Fast Track 100 for the last two years.  We were also a finalist in the National Business Customer Focus Award.  Details of our awards can be found here.
