You instruct your bank to transfer money from your account to ours. You can transfer money to us using your online or telephone banking or by going into your branch and making a same-day transfer. You can do this via EFT or BPAY depending on which is more convenient.
We have accounts with Citibank, Westpac so you can transfer your money to us more quickly and within the same bank.
For regular transfers you can set up a standing order and once everything's set up, you won't need to lift a finger.
You instruct your bank to transfer money to us as a SWIFT payment or domestic transfer into any of our dedicated client bank accounts in Europe, America, the UK and New Zealand. This will sometimes avoid you having to pay a fee and could mean your money reaches us faster.
World First is a member of SWIFT – the main system used throughout the financial world to make payments with speed, certainty and confidence.
Once we’ve received your funds, depending on how quickly they clear with us, we either pay the account(s) you’ve nominated the same day or day after.
We then send you confirmation in a PDF to let you know everything has gone through.
It depends how you make payment to us. All euro, sterling and dollar transfers are same-day so should reach your beneficiary bank the day we send them. Transfers to Australia and New Zealand will usually clear within 24 hours. Typically, all other currency transactions will take between one and four days to arrive.
